3D computed tomography (CBCT)

CBCT creates a three-dimensional image of the teeth, roots, jawbone and important anatomical structures. The detailed data helps to more accurately plan implantation, surgical procedures, endodontics and other complex treatments.

Detailed 3D image — showing roots, bone, and anatomical structures from different angles.

Revealing hidden problems — inflammation, cysts, or complex tooth alignment.

Digital result — images can be analyzed, measured, and used in planning.

Precise surgical planning — the position of nerves, cavities, and the amount of bone are displayed in 3D.

Stages of work

01 — Consultation and initial examination

02 — Removal of metal objects in the head and neck area

03 — Precise adjustment of the head position in the device

04 — 3D scanning of the selected area with low dose according to the protocol

05 — Evaluation of the finding and use of data in treatment planning

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Remove glasses, earrings, necklaces, and removable dentures before the scan.
  • Always disclose any possible or confirmed pregnancy before the X-ray.
  • Remain still during the scan and follow the instructions of the staff.
  • Bring older scans and available medical documentation to the scan.

Treatment result

Before treatment

A two-dimensional image may not accurately depict the spatial relationships of roots, bone, and nerve structures.

After treatment

3D data allows for detailed measurement and more precise planning of implantation, surgery or endodontics.
